Spray Tips and Guards
Airless equipment and H.V.L.P. sprayers have a variety of tips and nozzles to select from depending on what product is to be sprayed. Some paint Tech Data sheets will list the recommended spray equipment including output capacity and tip size for use with that particular coating. For those that do not, start with this handy guide.
As a general rule the following tip sizes would normally be used with airless sprayers using materials with the viscosity levels listed: It is also very important that the equipment being used can provide the output to support the selected tip. For example, a spray tip with a .017 orifice will allow .30 gpm through its orifice. Its always best to have a sprayer with a higher output than the tip because as the tip wears, its orifice size becomes bigger and the material flow rate increases. If the tip flow rate exceeds your paint sprayer flow rate, you will have spray pattern problems such as "tails".
Heavy Duty tip
Designed specifically for the most demanding jobs. These tips will produce a 60 cm wide spray fan that will cut down your spraying time down by half. A time-saving device.
Secondly, we developed new technologies with the spray tips as well as the tip design. Our new gold tungsten carbide will last nearly twice as much as our other tips against normal wear and they will maintain their original spray width longer.
This translates into direct savings by not having to replace tips as often, less labor as less passes are necessary but also, into an improved spray finish due to our new tip design.
